They also ensure your books stay tidy for when you need them to be. Bookkeepers are one of the lifelines of a business, and allow the owners to focus on what matters most.
We always use secure technology when accessing customer data. Any sensitive data is encrypted accordingly and can be access-restricted. Whether it is client accounting software, bank accounts, bank statements, or business data... we treat all information as sensitive data.
For small businesses, we recommend QuickBooks Online. It is the most intuitive software available for small business and is also available at a reasonable cost. If your business already has an established accounting system in place, we will continue using your system of choice. Recommendations can also be made for other business needs and what software/services are a good fit.
Maintaining strong relationships with our clients is our top priority. In order to do this we abide by the following principles: having effective and timely communication, setting realistic expectations, offering insight and expertise catered to the client, and scheduling routine check-ins to ensure client satisfaction.
At this time, we do not offer tax services. We can, however, assist with the preparation of year-end reporting that can be handed off to a tax accountant. We will work with your tax accountant on any questions they may have.
*Please note that we can assist you with Sales & Use Tax and Payroll Tax filing. These are separate matters from filing corporate business taxes and can be completed by a bookkeeper.
